Discipline
Discipline is the worst enemy of all gamblers. Lacking of discipline is CONSISTENTLY the downfall of many bettors, which is why only a small amount of gamblers can profit consistently over time.
It seems a common sight when bettors lose, they lose their cool too. Ever wonder why the last game always get the most attention ? Earlier losses causes the bettors to get depress or even worse, desperate. The bookmakers will be counting on that ! and galloping away while you chase your losses which usually, leads to greater losses ! Remember, never practice Double Stakes to recover your losses ! To indulge in every game available is also not advisable. This fact must be avoided at all cost. Discipline is crucial especially when you lose, always try to maintain a stable mind whenever the situation, win or lose.
Addiction
Another downfall of gamblers. Bettors must never be addicted, meaning can't eat or sleep without a bet ! Similar to a drug addict, once addicted to gambling, addicts will go to extreme measures for their betting needs. Some signs of addicts. Always thinking of the next bet, always place a bet with or without capital, borrow or lend to bet, etc.
Should you notice you're becoming one, stop betting for a week.
Betting should be a form of enjoyment, hobby or sideline, rather than a full-time commitment.
